Holy moly, how the heck did May beat March for a betting profit?! As I’m writing this in July 2023 I’m intrigued why this was so much, so without much ado…
Lets get into it!
May 2021: Strategy 1 – Bet and Gets
I think the best bet and get this month was still Unibet.
The others were the usual paddy power, betway and 888 Sport.
May 2021: Strategy 2 – Each way arbing
I reckon about £500 – £800 was made from each way arbing this month. It is quite fun doing each way arbing once you get the hang of it. You can read more about the strategy here.
May 2021: Strategy 3 – Sign up offers
As extra accounts came to hand there was more sign up offers done throughout the month which all added up to the betting total.
May 2021: Strategy 4 – Price Boosts
Price boosts helped throughout the month. Back at this time, Paddy were allowing £20 on price boosts, so sometimes you could make £4 a bet, and it used to be 2 or 3 times a week they had these offers on which was quite good. Shame they’ve stopped doing these really! But as always it seems with matched betting, all good offers end up disappearing after a while!
May 2021: Strategy 5 – Dutching
Ok, so this was the thing that helped boost the profits up.
So dutching is where you could have tennis player A at 2.2 to win at one bookmaker, and Tennis Player B at 2.2 to win at another bookmaker.
If you bet £100 on each bookmaker than you would win £20 no matter what.
Now if that dutch appeared, it’s probably one bookmaker is actually arbing on the exchange, OR there are markets where there is no exchange price and you can only compare markets between bookmakers. Well, I found out manually about this, I found a market where the dutch seemed to happen a lot, and well, smashed it! This dutching helped boost the profits up, which was a great find! Reading all the forums had finally paid off as it was a comment left by someone that helped find where to look for these.
I’m hoping we can create a group where we can all find these opportunites. It’s a bit frustrating that we can’t shout these from the rooftops, as eventually, the bookies would tighten up and stop the leaks, but hopefully we can have a tight knit group where we can make enough without the bookies getting suspicious.

For the month of May 2021 a betting total of £3,735.15 was made.
The Betting Total from the starting point of 17th June 2023 is £18,015.28
So I’ve been at it now for 12 months. And do you know what, I’m pretty chuffed at that amount!
Never did I think this much betting profit would be made! It’s a bit shocking!
