The Intro …
Here we go, back to full time work. January 24th was my first day back to the real world. Luckily it was an awesome office to work in. Bit of a shame I couldn’t matched bet all day, but getting the mortgage needs to happen!
So I managed a solid 23 days of matched betting, then pretty much took the week off to focus on work and ensure I didn’t get fired in the first week.
Let’s get into it!
Strategy 1 – Bet and Gets
So I swapped over from Outplayeds profit tracker to a spreadsheet that my mum made for me (thanks mum!)
Not to many bet and gets here, just 888, betfred and paddy.
Strategy 2 – Each way arbing
Did a few each way arbs here and there. Can see one of them made a betting profit of £34, wowzers.
Shame that each way arbing kills your accounts, but it is pretty fun to do and the profits can add up quick.
Strategy 3 – Sign up offers
Not that many sign ups done this month. I think from next month I hardly did any.
Strategy 4 – Price Boosts
Boosts are pretty much the money earner for this month. Betbull again I can see was pretty good, just looking at the stats and one boost I got £8, and I did that 3 times. That was part of the betting profits for the day.
Strategy 5 – Dutching
A few dutches were done this month to add to the betting profit.
Strategy 6 – Arbing
Still arbing and squeezing out the £1 profits! Usually did this on the weekend when the football was on. From 9am to 12am it gets quite boring if you don’t do horses, so I just looked at the outplayed oddsmatcher and tried to arb as much as I could when it popped up on gubbed accounts.
Strategy 7 – Casino
Still did a few easy casino offers that popped up every now and again, like Jackpot Joy or someone offering wager £10 for a £10 bonus. Aside from that I didn’t really do any casino
Conclusion
Time to see what the stats for the month are.
For the month of January 2022 a betting total of £3,942.31 was made.
The Betting Total from the starting point of 17th June 2020 is £52,668.57
Well a very decent January. I was comparing it to last year, and also comparing it to the really good 4 months I had just had, so felt pretty good to hit that betting profit amount.
Job wise my role was to be an inhouse Retrofit Coordinator. Now I had no idea what I was doing with that! But the company was going to pay me to study for the role, which was nice.
While I was studying I started to see what gaps there were in the office and in about 2 weeks I was sort of ‘techincal’. The company is an insulation company so with a bit of my trades experience I tried to help out where I could.
Now back to the studying, I didn’t realise how hard a level 5 was, and I wanted to study and get the course work done as quickly as possible to get the title and pay bracket, this means that matched betting had to take a sideways step a little, which you can see in Februarys report, up next!
