The Intro …

With the course work taking over my life in the evenings and 2 days a week, plus work, it was hard to find time to matched bet.

Luckily, even with all that, I still managed to find the time (not hard when you love matched betting!) and think I did ok for the month.

I always get nervous about trying to generate a betting profit each month, and I was checking my stats against last year to make sure I was still keeping up (I’ll be very annoyed when I earn less than the year before lol)

Anyway, managed to make it work.

Let’s get into it!

Personal Stats: Feb 2022

  • Working Full Time
  • Matched betting part time
  • Bankroll: £20,000+
  • Pets: 8
  • Software: Outplayed (review here)

Strategy 1 – Bet and Gets

Same as last month. Just thinking that in early 2020 when you had the daily coral and betfair this would have been a nice income, but as you’re probably gathering with matched betting, offers come and go and you’ve got to role with it.

Strategy 2 – Each way arbing

Think there was 2 or 3 each way arbs for a betting total of around £50. Bit hard to do it when you haven’t got the time to focus during the day.

Strategy 3 – Sign up offers

I don’t think any sign up offers were done this month. Probably for the best, as my brain was melting with all the study work.

Strategy 4 – Price Boosts

Good old price boosts, still keeping the betting profits rolling in!

Strategy 5 – Dutching

Suprisingly I can’t see any dutching going on this month.

Strategy 6 – Arbing

Arbing for a £1 betting profit now and again was left to the Saturdays. I think I was studying in the morning, then seeing what I could get on matched betting wise in the afternoon.

Strategy 7 – Casino

Can’t really see any casino offers for the month, so it looks like price boosts was the big one this month.

Conclusion

End of the month stats results are…

For the month of February 2022 a betting total of £2,415.22 was made.

The Betting Total from the starting point of 17th June 2020 is £55,083.79

Do you know what, looking back on this, I was around £1500 short of the previous month, that’s not to bad for working full time AND studying. It goes to show that you can fit this around work. I should also mention personal stats wise I don’t have any kids or relationships going on (gotta be handsome and have a personality for that) so I don’t have that side of things that could get in the way. But I do have a neice and a nephew and every Wednesday and every other Monday they would come round and so I always make sure I spend time with them, basically getting beaten up, but as long as they have a good time it’s worth it.

They would also come round every now and again on the a weekend. So when the football was on I could chuck them on my lap, turn on a superhero movie on one screen on my desktop and then matched bet on the other.

Just thought I would share this if anyone has kids and that, you can kind of fit matched betting in. So hopefully if you need an extra addition for the month, you can give matched betting ago. It is pretty flexible to work around.

Well, with all that said, we’ve got Cheltnham next month, I’ve booked the Thursday and Friday off! Let’s go!
