The Intro …
Man, another insane month, well, insane to me. Still can’t quite get my head that matched betting works so well! And, still always worry at the beginning of every month, will I earn any matched betting profit, will I get gubbed, bla bla, all that jazz. But so far, fingers crossed, seems to be going ok.
Ok, let’s get into it!
Strategy 1 – Bet and Gets
Ok so interestingly I hardly did any bet and gets this month, just Betfred. It is funny how when I first started these were the main betting profit, profits. As mentioned earlier in these reports bet and gets, well the really easy ones, have died down.
Strategy 2 – Each way arbing
Again this month, didn’t do any each way arbing. As dutching was going well I think I wanted to avoid ‘losing’ accounts doing each way arbing, so I didn’t do it.
Strategy 3 – Sign up offers
No sign ups done again this month. I still have loads of these to do! Money on the table waiting to be done.
Strategy 4 – Price Boosts
Still doing the old price boosts. I think last year the price boosts was a little bit more lucrative, but it’s still good betting profit.
Strategy 5 – Dutching
Main earner this month – dutching between the bookies!
Strategy 6 – Arbing
I can’t see much straight arbing on this month. I used to arb the accounts with the max bet and try and make £1 or so here or there. Not sure why, but I think I stopped looking for these this month.
When I used to do it I was just using the oddsmatcher and checking that every couple of mins or so.
Strategy 7 – Casino
I did a few casino offers here of there this month. That Party Poker one I stopped doing (think they might have stopped offering it too). With that offering, as I didn’t quite get the profit I was looking for, for the time I was putting in, I decided to stop it.
Conclusion
It’s that time again, here are the stats.
For the month of October 2022 a betting total of £5,300.42 was made.
The Betting Total from the starting point of 17th June 2020 is £86,195.62
It is weird but I’m always suprised at the end of every month. The first week I’m always anxious as I never know what betting profit is going to be made. Halfway through the month I’ve calmed down, and like oh yeah, this is going well, I wonder if this much betting profit will be made. Then on the last week when I hit those targets I’m like sweet, now how much betting profit could be made! And then it starts all over again.
Now I have been looking at oddsmonkey monthly betting profit posts, and mines a bit higher as, one I have found extra markets I can get on, and the other is I may or may not have access to accounts, if you know what I mean, so that all helps.
Flat wise I didn’t hear much, so it was a pretty quiet month on that side.
